I have not yet found the one "right" "best" "perfect" way to capture the spirit of a child. Some kids sit on the bench at Sears and Target and come home with a beautiful picture. Instead, I have found kids to be so different from one another, even when in the same family, that sessions only produce a portrait when the kids have the opportunity to be themselves.

For me, the opportune place to capture your son or daughter's personality is the places where they are most themselves. This could be your home, your yard, a favorite park, a beach, or just walking down the street. But where your children are most at home, so am I.
